We take our responsibility to our guests, many of whom are regular visitors and now friends, very seriously and we also have a duty of care to our local community, the NHS & other local key workers to allay concerns regarding the further spread of Coronavirus in our region.


In 2021 we will continue to put in place all the Covid guidelines to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The majority of these relate to social distancing & cleanliness in our guest facilities. It is in your own interest to PLEASE READ THESE THOROUGHLY. Thank you for your understanding.


Track & Trace‘ In line with Government legislation ALL GUESTS are now expected to scan in using the NHS App on arrival or if not possible we will manually request details including a mobile number of each member staying in your unit over 16 years of age on the booking form to be confirmed on arrival.

FACEMASKS must be worn in any inside public area on the campsite.


In line with Government Guidelines there will still be restricted use of the site facilities as noted below until the guidance suggests otherwise.

IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD THAT ARE USING VISITING OUR PARK AND USING OUR FACILITIES AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • Caravans & Motorhomes Guestswe respectfully request that you use your own toilet/shower facilities to relieve queues in the public areas.
  • TOILETS – ALL UNITS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TOILET FACILITY either within a unit or a portaloo toilet tent with groundsheet. (There’s no charge for toilet tents). There’s a site chemical disposal point.
    Our toilets will be CLOSED OVERNIGHT throughout 2021 (regardless of any lifting of restrictions) & at regular scheduled times in the daytime to enable us to fit in with enhanced cleaning protocols. Closed times are posted on the facilities doors however these times are flexible especially if the showers are busy. There will be restricted use of the toilets WHILST CLEANING TAKES PLACE.
  • SHOWERS We are operating with reduced shower availability to allow for sensible social distancing. There are allocated times for shower use which prioritise TENT CAMPERS & FAMILY USE. Doors and windows MUST stay open for best ventilation and to eliminate ‘touch’ issues. Shower curtains inside all shower cubicles have been removed. It is advisable that you have a waterproof bag to hang on the back of the cubicle door for your clothing. There are extra clothes hooks outside the individual showers also. We provide Sanitiser spray in these areas.
  • Disabled access toilet & shower room MUST be pre-booked to enable cleaning management.
  • IF WE ARE ADVISED AT ANY POINT BY ANY MEANS OF A POTENTIAL COVID CASE ON SITE OUR FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED FOR AS LONG AS NECESSARY.
  • HAND dryers are operational. HAIRDRYER is NOT! Sorry.
  • Regrettably our camp kitchen ‘shared’ facilities (i.e. fridge/freezers) remain closed.
  • EHU If you need an electric hook-up point option please book.
  • Sanitiser is provided around the site
  • Social distancing reminder signage is displayed for your own safety.
  • HOT WATER WASH-UP AREA is accessible with social distancing allowed for.
  • LAUNDRY facilities are operational with restricted entry.
  • PPE – Please wear PPE gloves when emptying toilets and handling outside water taps. These areas are wiped down regularly and have sanitiser stations attached to them.
  • FRIENDS & FAMILY If you are camping with friends/family who are in a separate unit please respect the social distancing rules applicable.
  • NO GUEST VISITORS are permitted on site. Please arrange meet-ups elsewhere.
  • If you have any Covid Symptoms or are self-isolating do not come! If you develop symptoms or are contact traced please ring 111 for advice and inform us, be prepared to leave to go home.
  • HIGH RISK AREAS – If you are living in a ‘high risk’ area please consider whether you should be leaving the area to come to us in Cornwall. We are happy to re-arrange your break to a later date (subject to availability).
  • BACKPACKERS. Due to the toilet situation Pre-booking will be essential to ensure a night-time toilet option is available to you. A single socket and a USB charge point will be available to Backpackers only to charge a phone.
  • We have completed a voluntary Covid-19 Risk Assessment to ensure safe-working practice which is on full display in our information area. This has been inspected by the licencing team at Cornwall Council.
  • All our usual T&C’s apply.
