The tariff applied will be relevant to the season you have booked for. We don’t refund for bookings cancelled within 28 days of booked arrival date by the guest when we are fully operational. We strongly suggest where advance payments have been paid you take out a HOLIDAY COVER INSURANCE to cover any event leading to a YOU cancelling your holiday and your need to claim for said advance payments. To confirm a booking you must have agreed to our T&C’s by ticking the relevant box on the booking form. The person making the booking warrants that the party will not exceed the numbers stated at the booking stage unless advised prior to arrival.

CONFIRMATION Once you have made your booking and paid either an initial deposit or the full amount for your booking, the price of the holiday will not be subject to change unless your holiday unit requirements differ or a date change takes effect over a change of season (tariff change) from that originally booked. Your booking confirmation will be emailed to you on the email addressed supplied on the booking form indicating that space has been reserved for you on the dates required.

Our maximum pitch occupation allowance is 6 persons including infants.

Acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a specific pitch or ability to offer our ‘extra’ facilities. However we will try to accommodate a request if possible. The pitch space allocated will be based upon the information supplied by you at time of booking. However if WE (Blue Hills Touring Park) cannot offer a pitch space in line with your booking requirements we would refund your holiday space deposit but you will have no additional claim against us. In the event of a booking being cancelled due to events outside of OUR control we will consider re-arranging a booking to an alternative suitable date within the same operating season subject to availability. We refer above again to our advice re insurance.

PITCHING We charge ‘to pitch’ and adhere strictly to the ‘space’ rules to comply with site licence & fire safety conditions.
We allow official style Dog pens/cages (NOT beach windbreaks or ‘net’ fencing) to a max width of 2.5 metres. To use a dog pen with an awning please advise at booking so we allow a suitable pitch space. THIS OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE IN SCHOOL HOLIDAY/PEAK TIMES. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your booked-in unit & any pre-booked ‘additional’ item on the pitch space allocated to you. We are happy to accept Gazebos (max. 3 metres) however it must be noted that on the North coast the winds can be very strong and it is advised these are taken down in these conditions to avoid any damage to the gazebo itself and other neighbouring units. Sided gazebos MUST be pitched as instructed allowing regulation spacing on pitch. Charges reflect the space allowance required.

Acceptable recognised camping accommodation is expected. We do not permit sleeping in cars or unofficially converted vans/works units. Definition – the vehicle must have at least one rear side opening window to be considered acceptable. *

The CONTRACT  to stay is with The Proprietor, Blue Hills Touring Park, Cross Coombe, Trevellas, St. Agnes, Cornwall TR5 0XP. Blue Hills Touring Park will not be liable to any person visiting on any area of the site for any personal injury or illness, fatal or non-fatal unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Blue Hills Touring Park will not be liable for loss or damage to property including motor vehicles and personal effects, in any area of the site howsoever caused or sustained. If your holiday length is curtailed due to events or actions out of our own control please refer to our holiday insurance advice. Our public liability notice is on display along with all other site notices on site.

BACKPACKER pitch allows for 1 – 2 persons with a 1-2 man tent, NO vehicle.

GROUP BOOKINGS – In order to keep the park as peaceful as possible we do not accept more than 2 booked units together at any one time in peak times. We occasionally accept small rally groups subject to space availability. We do occasionally offer exclusive use family group bookings in Swordfish field for tents and small campervans out of peak time.

DAY VISITORS 2021 update – Friend get-togethers must be arranged off site. No-one must enter the park that isn’t registered as staying with us. We are a small site & our facilities are for our paying registered guests.

TOWING VEHICLES should be parked where directed. It will generally be next to or in-front of unit unless advised otherwise by owners. We do not allow commercial signwritten/work vehicles to park on site. If necessary to tow with we can advise of local off-site parking.

ELECTRIC CARS – There are no separate vehicle charging facilities on this site and we do not permit the charging of vehicles from the pitch hook-up points. We can advise of local charging points.

BREATHABLE GROUNDSHEETS are much preferred. It must be understood that you may be pitched on a recently ‘used’ pitch. We operate a flexible approach to pitching which allows us to move pitches around to try to relieve using a worn pitch where possible.

WINDBREAKS – Following on from guest feedback forms we no longer permit the use of the ‘Beach’ style plastic stripy windbreaks on the park. They are rather unsightly, do not fit in with the environment we try to promote within the AONB, make large unnecessary holes in our grass, are useless as dog pens and are generally ineffective when it gets windy here! We would permit use of a PLAIN subtle Camping windbreak with guy ropes or Official Dog Pens. Thank you in advance for your understanding on this matter.

DRIVE-IN GUESTS (not pre-booked) will only be accepted out of Peak times, if the unit has a toilet facility on board & arrival is before 7pm. A unit will be pitched subject to space availability & occupants will be advised to view our T&C’s and Covid guidelines on site noticeboard.

MAXIMUM STAY No stays over 28 consecutive days are permitted in a unit & pitched accommodation must not be left unattended overnight.

TOWED UNITS must be accompanied by the towing vehicle. Units must be pitched hitch facing forwards to allow for easy emergency access.

FACILITIES Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all advertised facilities are available it may be sometimes necessary to close or limit a facility for personal safety or maintenance reasons. We would advise at the earliest opportunity if this will be the case. All updates on change of use will be advertised.

SPEED LIMIT on site is 5 mph. No recreational vehicles such as motorised scooters, mini motorbikes or quad bikes are allowed to be used on site. Our driveway is loose Cornish gravel and due to the site being quite small we discourage any bike riding around the site itself.

PARENTS are responsible for the behaviour of their children who MUST be supervised at all times, especially in toilet/showers areas. NO BALL/FRISBY GAMES etc. are to be played on the Touring Park itself. We do not allow bike riding around the park. We have Cornish gravel drives and are on a slight slope which is a bad combination if children fall off.
If we consider behaviour unacceptable you will be asked to leave.
DRONES are prohibited on site due to our proximity to the local small airfield and to protect the privacy of other guests.

MUSIC/TV sound should be played at a low level at all times, we expect all guests to be respectful of each other.

DOGS (or any other pet) remain your responsibility at all times, MUST be on a lead in the Park pitching areas and not left unattended in units when leaving the park. Recognised Dog Pens are acceptable as a means of containment (see above). Please make the effort to take dogs off pitch to relieve themselves. N.B. If you have a bitch due to come into season we would appreciate it if you can plan your holiday best you can around this event or take measures in advance to alleviate any potential unsettling issues that could arise concerning other dogs on site.

OPEN GROUND FIRES & WOOD BURNING FIREPITS are NOT permitted. Gaz operational & Off ground charcoal BBQ’s may be used when not windy. Bricks are available & a water bucket must be accessible. We reserve the right to charge a repair fee to remove & re-turf any scorched grass.
